Hosted by Saving California Communities and sponsored by UC Davis, First 5 Yolo, Cities, Counties, Schools Partnership, Davis Community Network, DMA, Tree Davis, and The Stuart Foundation. SCC will host Saving
California Communities: Starting Here!, a Davis community
conversation to explore possibilities and begin to craft a local course
of action that joins with others in setting our state on the road to
reform.
Objectives for the

- Increase Davis community awareness about the local impacts of state
financial decisions and inaction
- Build general knowledge about the state/local financial
structure
- Inform Davis community about reform efforts underway
- Alert Davis community about advocacy possibilities
